The Festival d’été de Québec (FEQ) celebrated its 50th anniversary with a bang thanks to P!nk’s performance on the historic Plains of Abraham this year.
The internationally renowned pop star wowed a record-breaking crowd with her greatest hits, acrobatics, pyrotechnics and a 3D virtual reality show. PixMob used four controllers rigged over the crowd to map various shapes, creating stunning advanced visual effects.
The highlight of the show was P!nk’s performance of the chart-topping “So What.” To the delight of the 50,000 attendees, the singer flew over their heads in a harness, lighting up their glowing PixMob wristbands in pink to the rhythm of her music.
“We are halfway between a rock-pop concert and Cirque du Soleil.’’ – Louis Bellavance, FEQ programmer
