The 2024 Paris Games were a wild, wonderful ride. We had the ultimate honor of pulling off 8 immersive lighting activations throughout the Olympics and Paralympics - from nail-biting matches to turning 70k fans into a human video screen.

Going Out With a Bang

The Olympics closing ceremony wanted all the stops. We activated our spanking new MVT tech to transform 70,000 fans into a massive human-resolution TV screen. Each fan wore our high-powered X4 LED wristbands, becoming a "pixel" in a canvas of animated effects.

Bringing Ancient Olympic Traditions to Light

Our Moving Visual Transmitter technology projected animations across the crowd that illustrated the long and epic history of the Olympics; from ancient chariot riders to a modern animation of the Olympic rings painted across the audience. 

An Electrifying Paralympics Finale

Our Olympic journey came to an electrifying end when we lit up 60,000 Paralympics fans with our X4 wristbands at the techno-fuelled closing ceremony.

The Games Got Lit

PixMob’s technology was also featured in other Olympic events, including the 100 meter men’s dash, 200 meter women’s dash, as well as both the men and women’s beach volleyball finals.

Animated Graphic Effects

The PixMob MVT turned the crowds at Paris Games into a human resolution screen of animated effects. Visuals were inspired by Ancient Greek pottery graphics, which transformed into modern animations.
