PWHL x PixMob
We wanted these athletes and their loyal fans to have the same game-day experience that we deploy for other major leagues, to give the PWHL the fan engagement, social media reach, and sponsorship value they thoroughly deserve.

While the past couple of years has seen women's sports experience a surge in support and exposure, there is still a verrrry long way to go in levelling the playing field.
Compared to their male counterpart, women's teams and games receive farrr less funding, media coverage, and in turn fewer sponsorships and fan engagement opportunities. Where does this lead? To reduced ticket sales and ultimately, lower compensation for the athletes.
We wanted to give the PWHL the same “big league” fan effect experience we’ve created for other major sports leagues like the NHL, NBA, and NFL.
Our partnership with the PWHL is part of our Spotlight Series - a program we began to shine a light on the teams and athletes who deserve it most, by investing in their fan experience. This ongoing sponsorship series is dedicated to illuminating the contributions of women in sports and entertainment, by providing in-kind activations of our crowd-immersive LED experiences.
AND WE MEAN IT
What made our partnership even more exceptional was the PWHL’s enormous devotion to their loyal, die-hard fandom, and their commitment to creating impactful fan experiences. By integrating our crowd-immersive LED wristband technology into their live experience, we helped create the continuous fan engagement and enthusiasm that the PWHL strives for in every game.
And they certainly achieve it, as can be seen in the continuous shattering of world attendance records that have come to define the league’s games.

We were indescribably thrilled to ignite the league’s world-record-breaking game in our hometown at the Montreal Bell Centre, where 21,105 fans flooded the arena with color, light, and palpable team spirit. (You should have seen the lines to the ladies room).Â
