The city of Monterrey, Mexico offered its soccer team, “Los Rayados”, a brand new stadium and wanted to celebrate with an unforgettable, illuminated opening ceremony. PixMob was called by the event organizers to enlighten the BBVA Stadium and created a mesmerizing light show across the crowd, making history with our LED wristbands.

New Mexican Wave

In a groundbreaking moment that etched itself into history, we took the classic Mexican wave to a whole new level by orchestrating it with LED wristbands. Divided into 16 groups, these bracelets burst into life on command, perfectly synchronized with the pulse-pounding music and the awe-inspiring wave executed by the 51,000 fervent attendees. It was an electrifying fusion of technology and tradition, creating a spectacle that left everyone in the stadium buzzing with excitement and wonder.
